Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people ages 14-18. The program gives young people an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and meeting new friends.
Through service activities, Interactors learn the importance of:
...Developing leadership skills and personal integrity;
...Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others; and
...Advancing international understanding and goodwill.
Interact Equals FUN... and Learning
Interact officers from throughout Rotary District 6690 along with their Faculty and Rotary advisors can attend the annual Interact new officer training held in conjunction with the District Assembly.

Goals for 2009-2010:
- Net gain of three (3) new Interact clubs by the end of this Rotary year.
- Summer Leadership at District Conference on Friday. Benefits: Increases attendance at District Conference, avoids scheduling conflicts with RYLA, takes advantage of college setting in Athens.
- District awards for Best Community Service project, Best NEW Community Service project, Best International Service project, etc.
- District Interact Video Contest.
