About: Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is Rotary's leadership training program for young people. RYLA participants may be ages 14 – 30. The focus for District 6690 will be on high school youth having just completed their junior year.             RYLA emphasizes leadership, citizenship, and personal growth, and aims to: Demonstrate Rotary's respect and concern for youth Provide an effective training experience  for selected youth and potential leaders Encourage leadership of youth by youth Recognize publicly young people who are rendering service to their communities Mission: To provide the youth of our district with an opportunity to further develop and understand their leadership skills, explore their core values, improve their communication skills, increase their self confidence, gain exposure to a variety of issues and people, and make new friends.  To provide Rotarians with an opportunity to make a meaningful, life changing impact on the youth of our district while gaining exposure to current youth issues and core values.  Your help is needed....                           JOIN the RYLA Team!
