Information: ANNOUNCEMENT: The District 6690 Rotary Four-Way Test Speech Contest is scheduled in conjunction with the 2011 District Assembly. The District Assembly is on Saturday April 16, 2011 in Westerville, Ohio. Registration and Speech time will be announced shortly. WHO: Each club should have a committee or person designated to run the Four-Way Test Speech Contest. Be sure to sign on to the District Database and place your Club's contact person on the Four Way Test Committee so we can all stay in contact with the program details. More detailed information, suggestions and rules will be available later for local committee chairs and will be distributed to all club presidents. PARTICIPANTS: High School students are eligible to participate. Those participating in Ethics seminar or Interact Clubs are ideal candidates. REGISTRATION: Deadline - April 9, 2011 (1 week before the District Assembly.) If you have a contest scheduled after the deadline or if additional forms are necessary, please contact the Committee Chair. STATE FOUR-WAY TEST SPEECH CONTEST: District 6690 will reactivate the State of Ohio Four-Way Test Speech Contest. The state contest has not been held for several years. The contest will consist of the 5 Rotary Districts in Ohio and will be held in a central location after the District contests at a place and date TBA. Tentavely, the contest will be held in Columbus in May 2011. The Four-Way Test Speech Contest is an ideal way to increase your community's positive view of Rotary and introduce the young people of your community to Rotary.
