GOVERNOR CALVIN GEBHART Mr. Gebhart has been President and CEO of The Citizens Bank since 1987. He has been employed by the Bank in other capacities since 1974. Mr. Gebhart is involved in many community activities throughout Pickaway County. In 1998, Mr. Gebhart received the Circleville Sertoma Service to Mankind Award. He is past president and past chairman of the Board of the Ohio Banker’s Association and further serves as a Board Member of the Ashville Economic Development Committee, in addition to serving as a member of the Board of Trustees of Pickaway Health Services. Mr. Gebhart is past President of the Circleville Sunrise Rotary Club. In addition, he was appointed to the American Bankers Association Community Bank Council and was appointed to a three-year term to the American Bankers Association Membership Council. He was also appointed by Governor Taft to be a member of the Association of Ohio Commodores for the State of Ohio. He was appointed by George Voinovich to a three (3) year term to State of Ohio Department of Financial Institution and was re-appointed by Governor Robert Taft an additional three (3) year term. He also completed a six (6) year term on Friend to WOSU on the Executive Committee and as its Treasurer. Furthermore, Mr. Gebhart serves as Treasurer for P-3 for Pickaway County (Economic Development).Mr. Gebhart graduated from Franklin University with a BSBA degree. He served 26 years in the Navy reserve and retired as a hospitalman Chief in 1996. He has continuing education degrees from Stonier Graduate School of Banking; Rutgers University, New Jersey; Ohio School of Banking, Ohio University of Athens; National Financial Funds Management School, University of Colorado; and the National School of Real Estate Finance, University of Wisconsin. Mr. Gebhart is married to his wife Shauna. He has two daughters Geralynn Yingling and Ginny Gebhart, two stepdaughters, and three grandchildren. |
